DESPRE IMAGINE (proiect video)

Dedic acest proiect video imaginii pentru că este ,,materialul nostru de lucru" cu precădere la relaţiile imaginii cu ,,ceea ce este cu adevarat" în imagine, argumentele care stabilesc că ceva ,,este cu adevărat" fiind definite în fond de actele de limbaj şi formele cunoaşterii. În acest context, terminologia imaginii nu trimite în mod preferenţial la obiecte artistice, ci la funcţiile intelective şi retorice îndeplinite de imagine.

Pentru ca imaginea să devină un obiect semnificativ al privirii, ea este mai întâi o creaţie a limbajului. Limbajul este cel care indică vizibilitatea sau nonvizibilitatea fundamentală a unui lucru, îndepărtându-se de lucrul văzut pentru a dezvălui sensul pe care îl are vederea acestui lucru. Şi tot limbajul este cel care descoperă posibilităţile cunoaşterii lucrului văzut plecând de la evidenţa sa, evidenţă care nu ţine doar de aparenţă.

Nici un lucru imediat vizibil nu este în mod necesar o imagine şi nici o imagine nu prezintă în mod necesar un lucru vizibil căruia imaginea i s-ar substitui. Imaginea construieşte vizibilităţi proprii şi constituie un limbaj care utilizează vizibilul pentru a da sens unui conţinut fiinţial şi conceptual.

Doar imaginea plastică este făcută în exclusivitate pentru văz, pentru a fi privită, dar acesta este un caz aparte în domeniul imaginilor.

Sunt doar câteva reflexii referitoare la imagine şi la limbajul ei, reflexii pe care mi-ar face plăcere să le văd dezvoltate în filmele voastre experimentale. Tot ce vine de la voi va fi introdus pe site-ul meu www.bochis.ro în acel ,,NET WORK" legat de filmele experimentale. Cu toate că este aproape inutil să vă reamintesc promisiunea că voi avea grijă ca filmele sosite de la voi să le implic în cele mai interesante proiecte culturale, fac totuşi acest lucru cu specificaţia că vă voi ţine la curent de toate aceste evenimente pe site-ul meu www.bochis.ro.

Un lucru aparte pe care-l voi face este s-o contactez pe DOAMNA ANCA VASILIU recent premiată de ACADEMIA FRANCEZĂ cu Premiul MONTYON pentru volumul ,,IMAGES DE SOI DANS L`ANTIQUITÉ TARDIVE'' şi să-i ofer un DVD cuprinzând filmele sosite de la voi. De Doamna ANCA VASILIU mă leagă amintiri din anii `70 când eu porneam pe un drum care se chema PICTURĂ, iar ea era un proaspăt CRITIC DE ARTĂ.

Ca de obiecei nu exista limită la nimic, detest pe cei care impun limite în artă, astfel, numărul de filme sosite de la voi este nelimitat, cred că un maxim de 10 minute ca durată de film ar fi O.K., dar evident că decizia vă aparţine, accept orice format video, nu uitaţi să ataşaţi un plic şi CV-ul vostru. DDL-ul este 15 martie 2014 data poştei din localitatea voastră.

Cu riscul să vă plictisesc menţionez din nou, ca de fiecare dată, că voi folosi filmele experimentale sosite de la voi doar în scopuri de promovare artistică pentru artist şi operă, tot ce este legat de proiecte culturale, exluzând exploatarea lor din punct de vedere comercial. MIRCEA BOCHIŞ

 

ABOUT THE IMAGE (film project)

I dedicate this film project to the image because this is our „work material" especially in regards to the relations of images with „that which is truly" in the image, arguments that establish that something „is true" being defined by the acts of language and the forms of knowledge. In this context, the terminology of the image does not necessarily send you to artistic objects, but to intellect and rhetoric functions performed by the image.

Because the image becomes a significant object of sight, it is firstly a creation of language. The language is the one that indicates the fundamental visibility and non-visibility of something, stretching away from what is seen in order to uncover the meaning of that thing that is being seen. The language is also the one that uncovers the possibilities of knowing the thing that is seen by starting from its existence, existence that is not only about appearance.

A thing that is immediately visible is not necessarily an image or an image does not necessarily represent a visible thing that can be replaced by an image. The image constructs its own visibilities and creates a language that uses the visible to give sense to anexistential and conceptual content.

Only the artistic image is made exclusively for sight, to be seen, but this is a particular case in the field of images.

These are only some reflections about the image and its language that I would like to see developed in your experimental films. All that arrives from you will be inserted on my website www.bochis.ro in that „NET WORK" about experimental films. Even if it is almost unnecessary to remind you of the promise that I will make sure to involve the films that arrive from you in the most interesting cultural projects, I still mention that I will keep you updated with respect to all these events on my website www.bochis.ro

I will do something special by contacting Mrs. ANCA VASILIU, recently awarded by the FRENCH ACADEMY with the MONTYON prize for the volume ,,IMAGES DE SOI DANS L`ANTIQUITÉ TARDIVE'' and offer her a DVD with the films received from you. I have memories of Mrs. ANCA VASILIU since the 70' when I embarked on a journey which is called PAINTING, while she was a new ART CRITIC.

As usual there are no limits in any form, I hate those that impose limits in art, as such, the number of films that arrive from you is unlimited, I believe that a maximum of 10 minutes in length would be O.K., but obviously this decision is up to you, I accept any video format and do not forget to attach an envelope and your CV. The deadline is 15 of March 2013, the post date from your locality.

With the risk of boring you again, as always, I will use the experimental films received from you only for the purposes of artistic promotion for the artist and his art and all that is related to cultural projects, excluding their commercial exploitation.
